It is with great sorrow that the Ohio Association of Blood Banks Board of Trustees announces the dissolution of OABB (as an organization). Corporate wind down activities are in progress.
On December 4, the membership met (in a virtual annual meeting) and unanimously approved a motion to dissolve the organization and disperse all remaining funds to blood bank organizations involved in educational pursuits.
No individual or institutional membership dues notices will be issued for 2021 (and beyond). Please do not remit any membership dues to the organization.
The Board thanks all individuals and institutional members over the past 40+ years for your interest in blood banking in the state of Ohio and especially to all those members who served as leadership for the organization.
